Luverne Buffalo Days and Worthington Arts On The Shore
A big thank you goes out to all who braved the rainy weather and came out to visit or purchase from me. The turnout was suburb for both shows and the old axiom "If you don't like the MN weather, just stick around for another 5 minutes" really does ring true, I just wish there were a few less 5 minutes in any given day!
Hopefully since we got the flooding all out of the way the rest of the summer will be much drier, warmer (but not to hot)... Looking forward to seeing you again.
My upcoming show dates are:
July 4th- Historic Fair Village, Nobles County Fairgrounds
July 10th- Rushmore School Gym, Rushmore MN
July 17th- Art in the Park, Jackson, MN

Round Lake Spring Bazaar and Craft Show
I would like to thank all that stopped by my booth at the Round Lake Spring Bazaar and Craft Show this past weekend. If you were lucky enough to win one of my door prizes, they are redeemable at any future show, online or here at the studio for a year.
Some of the pieces are still available. If interested in a particular piece, feel free to contact me and inquire.

Worthington Christmas Fair
Thanks to everyone who came out on the day after "Black Friday" and bought my pottery!
We had a teenage girl in our booth that really liked my stuff- she bought, left and came back again. It is so good to see the younger generation enjoying my items.
I enjoyed seeing my friend who drove a fair bit and had do probably do a huge amount of juggling to get time away from her family. To most ordinary people that may sound strange until I tell you how big her family is- she has 13 kids.
We saw some new vendors, some old friends and since we are always on the lookout for new places to show, I got quite a few leads. I also am toying with 2 new ideas for next year- watch the blog for which one I pick... as I am excited about both!
I am planning on attending the Worthington Windsurfing Regatta/Arts On the Shore/ Unvarnished Music Festival this summer (2008) so I look forward to seeing you again!

Fulda Woman Of Today Craft Show
It was a great turn-out in Fulda, MN yesterday. We heard that the crowd was half of normal. That's hard for me to imagine since the crowd was steady all day, and parking spots were hard to find!
As per norm, I had my camera along and forgot to take pictures, though many pictures I would have liked to have had to post here, like the special people I met in Fulda.
There were a lot of Lakefield residents, Worthington residents and even one family member who gave me a rough time for my husband missing the family reunion golf tournament this year (I was doing a show in Jackson that day, its all my fault- sorry!). Lately, it seems an art teacher will stop by my booth at some point in the show. I always love talking with them, hearing feedback on my pottery and showing them what their influence at early ages can produce. They deserve lots of praise and respect!
There was a glass bead artist that had unusual necklaces that I dearly loved! I hope she is in the area more often as her stuff was nothing like the norm around here! I found her online at : Dry Creek Beads. Click and take a look- its not the usual beaded necklaces and jewelery!
Thanks to everyone who purchased from me, and hope to see you again in Fulda next year!

Pipestone Holiday Fair
It was really nice getting to meet all the people in Pipestone, MN again. It was also great that so many people showed up to help out the County Historical Society in their fund-raiser.
It was great to see returning customers that remembered me from Pipestone Water-tower days- and for bringing in others hoping I would be there so that friends or relatives could buy my wares also!
Thanks for all the great community support that I received and an especially huge thank you to all of you who put up with my very odd booth configuration!
