Slinging

I had the honor of working with Country Threads to design and produce their 25th anniversary mugs. I made 120 mugs total in a very short time... Here is a picture of the small kiln just before unloading after bisque firing the last 20 mugs and a few odds-n-ends.


Then I went on to waxing the bottoms and glazing and hand painting the wash on the chicken... Its amazing on how this many cups overwhelmed my small studio space. I will really be nice when the studio is completed after the spring thaw and I have more room to maneuver!


And finally here is the completed photo of the mugs... well, less than 1/2 of the mugs are visible.


And a total of 120 mugs....

Had a request for these colors. Through many goofs, this one was a keeper! It is to be given as a gift for Christmas, I hope they like it!

I wish my camera would pick up the true colors better without using the photo-booth, tripod and lights... but the colors are my teal and purple- but the purple turned out a beautiful darker purple. The kiln gods were smiling on this one!
